How to Request Deletion

In-app (fastest) Open the Currot app → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your account will be deactivated immediately with a 30-day recovery window.

Via this page If you can no longer access the app, fill out the form below with the phone number linked to your account. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.

Via email Send a request to support@currot.com with the phone number on your account. We will respond within 30 days.

Data Deleted & Retained

Data Type Action Retention
Account info (phone, username, email, profile) Deleted 30 days after deletion request
Posts & pictures Deleted Removed from public view immediately; fully deleted within 90 days
Direct messages Deleted Deleted when both parties delete, or 90 days after account deletion
Ask responses Anonymized Your identity is removed; anonymous text may remain to preserve conversation context
Usage analytics & logs Deleted Purged within 90 days
Legal & safety records Retained Data related to active investigations, reports, suspended accounts, or legal obligations may be retained for up to 365+ days as required by law
