Child Safety Standards

Effective: February 23, 2026 | Last updated: March 16, 2026

Currot, a service owned and operated by Eliary Inc., is committed to creating a safe environment for all users, especially children and minors. This document outlines our standards for preventing and combating child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform.

ZERO TOLERANCE: Currot maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. Any content, behavior, or activity that sexually exploits or endangers children will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities.

1. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Currot and will result in immediate enforcement action:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor, including photographs, videos, or digitally generated images
  • AI-Generated CSAM: Any AI-generated, computer-generated, or digitally manipulated imagery depicting minors in sexually explicit situations
  • Grooming: Any behavior by an adult intended to build trust with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation, including but not limited to flattery, gift-giving, isolation tactics, or sexualized conversation
  • Solicitation of Minors: Any attempt to solicit sexual content from, arrange sexual encounters with, or engage in sexually explicit communication with a minor
  • Sextortion: Any attempt to coerce a minor into providing sexual content or favors through threats, blackmail, or manipulation
  • Sex Trafficking of Minors: Any content, messaging, or behavior that facilitates or promotes the sex trafficking of children
  • Sexualization of Minors: Any content that sexualizes minors, including sexualized commentary about children, even if no imagery is involved
  • Sharing or Requesting CSAM: Sharing, distributing, requesting, or expressing interest in obtaining CSAM

2. Detection and Prevention

Currot employs the following measures to detect and prevent CSAE on our platform:

2.1 Age Requirements

  • Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account (European Economic Area: 16, varies by member state, minimum 13; South Korea: 14; other jurisdictions: as required by local law)
  • Users must provide their accurate date of birth during registration
  • Providing a false date of birth may result in immediate account termination
  • We may review accounts and content to verify age compliance

2.2 Content Moderation

  • Active moderation of public content by our team
  • User reporting system for flagging concerning content and behavior
  • Priority review of reports involving minors or potential CSAE
  • Content posted by or directed at users under 18 is subject to enhanced review

2.3 Interaction Safeguards

  • Mutual-Follow Messaging: Direct messaging requires mutual following, reducing unsolicited contact from strangers to minors
  • Adult-Minor Monitoring: Adult accounts that exhibit patterns of contacting multiple users under 18 are subject to enhanced review and potential enforcement action
  • Communication Review: Messages may be reviewed to protect minors. Messages on Currot are not end-to-end encrypted, allowing us to investigate potential harm
  • Anonymous Ask Safeguards: Anonymous asks retain sender identity server-side, which can be disclosed to authorities upon legal request

3. Reporting and Response

3.1 How to Report

If you encounter any content or behavior on Currot that you believe involves the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child:

  • In-App Reporting: Use the built-in reporting feature to flag content or users. Reports involving minors are prioritized
  • Email: Contact safety@currot.com with details of your concern
  • External Reporting: You may also report directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline (https://www.missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline) or your local law enforcement

3.2 Our Response Process

When CSAE content or behavior is identified or reported:

  • The offending account is immediately terminated
  • All associated content and account data is preserved for law enforcement
  • A report is submitted to NCMEC via the CyberTipline as required by U.S. federal law
  • We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations
  • Associated accounts may also be subject to enforcement action

4. Data Retention for Safety

To support investigations and protect children, Currot retains certain data for extended periods:

  • Content and account data involved in CSAE reports: retained for 365 days or longer, or as required by law
  • Anonymous ask sender records: retained for 12 months
  • Adult-minor interaction data flagged for review: retained for 365 days or longer
  • Data subject to legal preservation requests or active investigations: retained as long as required

5. Enhanced Protections for Minors

Currot implements specific protections for users under 18:

  • Enhanced Content Review: Content posted by or directed at users under 18 is subject to more active moderation
  • Interaction Monitoring: Interactions involving minors are monitored for potentially harmful patterns
  • Communication Safeguards: Additional safeguards apply to messaging features involving minor users, including message review
  • Feature Restrictions: Certain features may be limited for users under 18
  • Parental Consent: Users under 18 must have parental or legal guardian consent to use the Service
  • NSFW Zero Tolerance: All sexually explicit content is prohibited platform-wide, with immediate permanent ban enforcement

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your underage child has created an account on Currot, please contact safety@currot.com immediately.

6. Cooperation with Authorities

Currot and Eliary Inc. are committed to cooperating with law enforcement and child protection organizations:

  • We comply with all applicable laws regarding the reporting of CSAM and CSAE, including U.S. federal reporting requirements to NCMEC
  • We respond to valid legal requests for user data related to child safety investigations
  • We may proactively report concerning activity to authorities where permitted by law
  • We work with industry organizations to adopt best practices in child safety

7. Enforcement

Accounts terminated for CSAE violations are not eligible for appeal. CSAE is the most serious category of policy violation on Currot, and enforcement decisions in this area are final.
